Sunlight Photo Sensor

There are different versions of the Sunlight Photo Sensor (G107). Make sure the allocation is correct. If a sunlight photo sensor is installed that is not intended for that vehicle (there is a different signal than the one intended in that Climatronic Control Module (J255)), the Climatronic control module cannot evaluate the signal from the sunlight photo sensor and the A/C system is not regulated correctly.

Removing





- Switch off ignition.

- Remove the center speaker trim.

- Pry the sunlight photo sensor - A - carefully out of the top center defroster outlet.

- Disconnect the 4-pin connector.

The Central Locking -SAFE- Indicator Lamp (K133) - B - which looks the same has a 2-pin connector.

Installing

Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

- Install the center speaker trim.
