Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

Front Hood Switch

Removing

Proceed as follows:

• When installing, position cable ties in same place.

- Remove the engine compartment lid lock => [ Engine Compartment Lid Lock ] Engine Compartment Lid Lock.





- Disconnect the cable ties - 3 -.

- Release the retaining clamp - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow - and remove it downward.

- Remove the front hood contact switch (F266) - item 2 - from the lid lock.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the engine compartment lid lock => [ Engine Compartment Lid Lock ] Engine Compartment Lid Lock.
