Upper A-pillar Trim

• Removal and installation are same for right and left.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)





Removal





- Unclip the upper A-pillar trim - 1 - with the (3409) - arrows A and B -.

- Remove the upper A-pillar trim upward out of the instrument panel - arrow C -.

- Disconnect the treble speaker electrical connector and remove the upper A-pillar trim upward.

Installation





Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• If the trim clips stay in the body mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

• Check the clips for damage or deformation and replace them if necessary.

- Insert the upper A-pillar trim - 2 - in the instrument panel ridge - 1 - and the lower A-pillar trim.

- Clip in the upper A-pillar trim and stretch the lip of the door seal over.
