Removing





Proceed as follows:

- Remove the A-pillar trim.

- Remove the door seal - 4 - from the body in the area of the triangular trim and carefully pry the rubber cover - 2 - out.

- Remove the nut - 1 - and bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the A-pillar triangular trim - 3 -.

Installing

• Tightening specifications => [ Roof Trim Molding and A-Pillar Triangular Trim Assembly Overview ] .

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• The vehicle must reach room temperature before any bonding work.

• All adhesion surfaces must be free of dust and grease.

- Clean adhesive surfaces with Cleaning Solution (D 009 401 04).

- Press the A-pillar triangular trim firmly onto the window guide.
