Proceed as follows:

- Open the engine compartment lid.

- Remove the bolt - 3 - and the striker pin anti-twist mechanism - 1 -.

- Remove the lid lock striker pin - 2 -.

Installing

• Tightening specifications => [ Engine Compartment Lid Assembly Overview ] Engine Compartment Lid Assembly Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Adjust the striker pin => [ Engine Compartment Lid, Adjusting ] Adjustments.
