Oil Pressure Switch (F22)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Socket 24 mm and Jointed Extension (T40175)

Removing

- Remove the rear engine cover - 2 - upward.






- Free up the fuel line - 4 - and hose connection - 1 - from the EVAP canister on the air filter housing and on the air guide tube.






- Remove the vacuum hose - 2 - from the air guide hose connection.

- Remove the air guide pipe by loosening the hose clamp - 3 - and opening the clips - arrows -.

To collect escaping engine oil, place a clean cloth under the oil filter housing.

- Disconnect the electrical connector on the oil pressure switch - arrow -.






- Remove the oil pressure switch with the (T40175).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Oil Filter Housing and Oil Pressure Switch Overview ] Service and Repair.

Replace sealing ring.

To prevent engine oil from running out, immediately install the new oil pressure switch (F22) into the hole.

- Check oil level.
