Oil Pump: Service and Repair

Oil Pump

Removing

- Remove the lower oil pan. Refer to => [ Lower Oil Pan ] Lower Oil Pan.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.






- Pull the oil pump forward off the driveshaft; if necessary, slightly push the driveshaft to the rear.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Upper and Lower Oil Pan, Oil Pump and Oil Cooler Overview ] Upper and Lower Oil Pan, Oil Pump and Oil Cooler Overview.

• Replace O-rings.

- Install oil pump onto the driveshaft and fasten.

- Install lower oil pan. Refer to => [ Lower Oil Pan ] Lower Oil Pan.
