HID Lamp Control Module

Danger to life due to high voltage.

• Always disconnect the battery wire strap before working on gas-discharge headlamp components marked with yellow high-voltage symbols.

Removing





- Remove headlamp housings. Refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove control module - 1 - from headlamp housing.

- Disconnect the adapter cable - 2 - and the electrical connector - 3 - on the HID headlamp control module - 1 -.





- Remove the HID headlamp control module.

Installing

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Bi-Xenon Headlamps with Cornering Lamp Assembly Overview ] Bi-Xenon Headlamps With Cornering Lamp Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Check seal - 4 - between gas discharge headlamp control module and headlamp housing for damage.

- Install the headlamp housing. Refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.
