Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






• The footrest is destroyed during removal and must be replaced.

- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to => [ Driver Side Instrument Panel Cover ] Driver Side Instrument Panel Cover.

- Remove the lower A-pillar trim on the driver side. Refer to => [ A-Pillar Lower Trim ] A-Pillar Lower Trim.

- Unclip the footrest - 1 - using the trim removal wedge (3409) - arrow - and remove it.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Replace the footrest and make sure it engages completely in the mounts.
