Fuel Injectors and Fuel Rail Assembly Overview
1 Radial Adjustment
• Replace if damaged
• Clip together with support ring => [ (Item 6) Support Ring ]
2 Combustion Chamber Seal
• Do not grease ring or treat with any other lubricant
3 Fuel Injector
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors ] Fuel Injectors
4 Spacer Ring
• Replace if damaged
5 O-ring
• Replace
• Coat with clean engine oil
6 Support Ring
• Replace
• The fuel rail wields force via the support ring to hold the fuel injector tightly in the cylinder head.
7 Fuel Rail
8 High-Pressure Line
• Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system, pressure must be relieved to residual pressure. Refer to => [ Before Opening High Pressure Fuel Injection System ] Service and Repair.
• Then wrap a clean rag around the connection and relieve residual pressure by carefully loosening the connection.
• Connectors should not show any signs of damage
• Do not change bend shape
• Tighten high-pressure lines => [ Hand-tighten the union nuts for the high-pressure

9 High-Pressure Line
• Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system, pressure must be relieved to residual pressure => [ Before Opening High Pressure Fuel Injection System ] Service and Repair.
• Then wrap a clean rag around the connection and relieve residual pressure by carefully loosening the connection.
• Connectors should not show any signs of damage
• Do not change bend shape
• Tighten high-pressure lines => [ Hand-tighten the union nuts for the high-pressure
lines. ] Fuel Injectors
10 Pressure Relief Valve 140 Bar
• For high pressure line
• Tighten to 25 Nm.
11 Bolt
• 9 Nm
• Fasten in diagonal sequence in steps
12 Bolt
• 9 Nm
• Fasten in diagonal sequence in steps
