This is necessary when replacing gear set.

Positioning of inner race/tapered ball bearing (on drive pinion) for location of hollow shaft in transmission is determined with this shim - A -.





The actual dimension "A1" - arrow - that you need for this shim "S5" is inscribed on gear set ring gear. In the example, dimension "A1" = 98.86 mm

Determine shim needed according to table.
