Right Flange Shaft Needle Bearing - 6 Spd. Direct Shift A/T 02E All Wheel Drive

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

^ Pressure plate VW 401
^ Pressure plate VW 402
^ Punch VW 407
^ Punch VW 412
^ Alignment fixture VAS 3253
^ Tensioning device T10047

Procedure

- Remove right flange shaft.





- Install Assembly tool T10047 so that the marks "B" on both parts of the tool face each other.

^ The sections -arrows- must then be located under the bearing.

- Screw both parts together until they stop.





- Remove circlip -A- for bearings.
- Shaft must be rotated while pressing off -arrow- so that the bearing contact surface on shaft is not damaged.





- Shaft must be rotated while pressing on -arrow- so that the bearing contact surface on shaft is not damaged.
- Secure bearing with a new circlip.
- Install right flange shaft.
