Left Flange Shaft - 6 Spd. Direct Shift A/T 02E All Wheel Drive

^ Used oil collection and extraction device V.A.G 1782

Removing

Note:
^ Rules for cleanliness when working on transmission.
^ General repair notes.

- Remove left drive axle.
- Place old oil collecting and extracting device V.A.G 1782 beneath transmission.





- Remove left flange shaft countersunk bolt by installing 2 bolts in flange and counter holding flange shaft with assembly lever.
- Pull out flange shaft with spring.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following:

Note:
^ Replace flange shaft countersunk screw.

- Press in flange shaft and secure it with a new bolt, tightening specification.
- Install left drive axle.
- Transmission fluid level, checking and topping off.
