Left flange shaft, removing and installing 02E, 6 Speed Direct Shift AWD A/T

^ Used oil collecting and extracting device V.A.G 1782

Removing

Note:
^ Rules for cleanliness when working on transmission.
^ General repair notes.

^ Remove left drive axle.

- Place used oil collecting and extracting device V.A.G 1782 beneath transmission.





- Remove left flange shaft countersunk bolt by installing 2 bolts in flange and counter holding flange shaft with assembly lever.
- Pull out flange shaft with spring.

Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note:

Note:
^ Replace flange shaft countersunk screw.

- Press in flange shaft against spring force and secure it with a new bolt.
- Install left drive axle.
- Check and fill up transmission fluid level.
