Note: Make color mark to indicate direction of timing chain prior to removal. Running a used chain in the opposite direction could destroy it.





1. Pivot pin, 10 Nm
2. 6 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4) turn
^ Always replace
3. Washer
4. Camshaft bolt
^ Always replace
^ Pre-tightening torque: 40 Nm
^ Finish-tightening torque: 100 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4) turn
5. Chain sprocket
^ For exhaust camshaft
6. Camshaft bolt
^ Always replace
^ Pre-tightening torque: 40 Nm
^ Finish-tightening torque: 100 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4) turn
7. Hall sender rotor ring Set with locator T40047
8. Camshaft adjuster
9. Chain tensioner
10. Left timing chain
