Tiptronic Switches, Removing And Installing

Removing

WARNING: Special safety precautions apply to vehicles equipped with airbags.

- Remove airbag.
- Remove trim ring from steering wheel.







- Disconnect electrical connection -1- from button -2-.
- Slide button -2- out of steering wheel in direction of -arrow-.
- Turn button over.







- Disconnect electrical connection -2- to Tiptronic switch from multi-function button -1- and remove.







- Remove screw -arrow- and remove Tiptronic switch from behind steering wheel.

Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.

Removal and installation of left switch are identical.
