Track control link bushing, replacing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required:





^ Assembly tool 3301
^ Assembly tool 3301/3
^ Assembly tool 3301/4
^ Support arm bearing inst. tool 3346
^ Assembly tool 3346/1
^ Assembly tool 3346/2
^ Assembly tool 3346/3
^ Assembly tool 3350/1

Note:
^ Always use protective jaws when clamping aluminum links in a vise.





Removing inner bushing
- Mark position of old bushing.





Installation position of bushing
- Transfer installation marks of old bushing to new bushing





Installing inner bushing
- Insert bushing - A - in thrust piece 3346/1 in 3.2 mm recess
- Press in bushing as far as it will go.

Note:
^ To press in use assembly lubricating oil G 294 421 A1 diluted 1:100 with water.

Use assembly lubricant G 294 421 A1 diluted with water (ratio 1:100) when pressing in bush.
- Install bushing so it is centered.
The bushing chamfer and the track control link must align.
