High Intensity Gas Discharge (Xenon) Headlights

Light Bulb For High Beam, Replacing

CAUTION: High voltage: Make sure to disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap before performing work on parts of High intensity gas discharge (xenon) headlights marked with yellow high voltage symbols.

Removing
- Remove headlight.
- Remove housing cover from headlight housing.
- Disconnect electrical harness connector at igniter for gas discharge lamp.







- Rotate light bulb counter clockwise -arrow- and remove it from headlight housing.
- Disconnect electrical harness connector -1- at bulb.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:
- Do not touch glass portion with bare hands.
- Secure light bulb by turning clockwise.
- Secure housing cover using wire clamp.
- Install headlight.
