- Removing
- Remove seat Seat, assembly overview.
- Attach fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 to engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach front seat to fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Remove door sill side seat trim.
- Remove tunnel side seat trim.
- Remove backrest panel.
- Remove backrest frame.
- Remove backrest cover and cushion.
- Use a screwdriver to pry out circlip - 3 -.
- Press together catches - 5 - (2x) and remove microswitch - 4 -.
- Disconnect connector - 2 -.
- Installing
- Press in microswitch - 4 - until the catches - 5 - (2x) engage.
- Connect connector - 2 -.
- Install backrest cover and cushion g
- Adjust microswitch for seatback release
- Insert the circlip - 3 -.
- Install backrest frame
- Install backrest panel
