Combination Valve For Secondary Air System, Removing And Installing

Removing







- Move electrical wire (arrow) clear.
- Loosen hose clips -1- and -2- and remove air hose between air cleaner housing and Throttle valve control module -J338-.
- Take out air cleaner housing.







- Unbolt Throttle valve control module -J338- from intake manifold (arrows) and move clear to one side (coolant hoses remain attached).







- Disconnect air hose -2- and vacuum hose -1- at combination valve for secondary air system.
- Unscrew 2 bolts (arrow) and remove combination valve.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order. Note the following:

NOTE: Replace seals and gaskets.

Tightening torques

Components Nm
Combination valve for secondary
air system to bracket 10 Nm


Throttle valve control module -J338-
to intake manifold 10 Nm
