With Manufacturer's Scan Tool

Checking vacuum system of intake air switch-over valve -N335- for leaks

Refer to vacuum plan.
- Disconnect connector from intake air switch-over valve -N335-.
- Connect hand pump VAG 1390 to vacuum line of flap in air filter.
- Operate hand pump and check whether switchover function is working.







Flap in air filter must not return to starting position as long as vacuum hand pump is not vented.

If the flap goes back before the vacuum hand pump is vented:
- Check vacuum hoses for leaks.
