D-pillar Trim Panel, Removing And Installing (From Calendar Week 36.02)

WARNING: Observe safety precautions for working on airbags and head-level airbags.







1 - D-pillar trim

- Removing
- Open slider on attachment eyelets for separation grille Fig. 1.
- Remove screw - 3 -.
- Unclip D-pillar trim - 1 - at clips - 4 - (4x), starting at roof panel trim.







- Pull D-pillar trim panel - 1 - upward out of side luggage compartment trim.
- Remove D-pillar trim panel - 1 - to the rear out of roof frame trim Fig.: 1.

WARNING: Always follow installation sequence for D-pillar trim

- Installing
- Insert D-pillar trim into roof frame trim Fig.: 2.
- Insert D-pillar trim - 1 - behind side luggage compartment trim.
- Insert D-pillar trim - 1 - using clips - 4 - into mounts - 5 -.
- Securely clip D-pillar trim - 1 -.







WARNING: Make sure trim is installed securely.

- Rest of installation is reverse order of removal

3 - Screw
4 - Clip (4x)
5 - Mounts (4x)
6 - Catch
7 - Bracket for cargo area cover.
8 - Screw
