Upper C-pillar Trim Panel, Removing And Installing (From Calendar Week 36.02)

WARNING: Observe safety precautions for working on airbags and head-level airbags.







1 - C-pillar trim

- Removing
- Remove D-pillar trim
- Remove roof frame trim.
- Remove side bolster, or non-foldable rear backers
- Remove screw - 4 -.







- Remove screws - 3 - (2x).
- Remove upper C-pillar trim - 1 - downward.

- Installing
- Slide upper C-pillar trim panel - 1 - upward.
- Install screws - 3 - with washers - 2 -.
- Rest of installation is reverse order of removal

- After assembling trim, make sure seal is properly fitted

2 - Washers (2x)
- Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm







3 - Screws (2x)
- Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm

- Self-locking
- Always replace
- Always clean threaded holes for screws (e.g. using a thread cutter)
- For loose (threaded) inserts, tighten inserts using pliers.
