Light Recognition Sensor -G399-, Removing And Installing

Special tools and equipment







- Fabricate a tool out of a 0.7 mm thick sheet metal strip to the dimensions illustrated.

Removing

CAUTION:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.







- Guide angled side of tool -1- to the side under trim -2- as illustrated.
- Disengage retaining tabs of trim by pulling tool in direction of arrow.
- Repeat procedure on opposite side.







- Disconnect electrical connector -1-.
- Press retaining tabs -arrows- together and remove light recognition sensor -2- from bracket.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
