Window Frame And Window Regulator, Removing And Installing







1 - Window frame
- Assembly carrier removed.
- Can only be removed when door window has been removed from window regulator.
- When installing, follow bolt tightening sequence.
- When installing, screw on all bolts loosely first.
- Window frame height is already adjusted by collared shoulder bolts - 4 - and - 5 -.
- After inclination adjustment, tighten bolts in the sequence - 4 - ; - 5 - ; - 6 - ; - 7 - ; - 8 - ; - 9 - and - 10 - to 32 Nm.
2 - Window
- Installed when assembling window frame.
- Can be replaced with assembly carrier installed and window frame assembled.
3 - Outside mirror

5 - Collared shoulder bolt
- Socket head
- 32 Nm.
6 - Tone screw
- 32 Nm.
7 - Tone screw
- 32 Nm.
8 - Flat head bolt
- 10 Nm

- 10 Nm

- 10 Nm
11 - Front door
12 - Outer door seal
- Removing and installing.






Installing outer door seal
- To remove, unscrew lower bolt - 3 -.
- Unclip upper seal from door and pull off seal.
- Adhesion surface must be free of dust and grease.
- Before installing, clean adhesion surface on door - 1 - with D 009 401 04.
- To install, clip seal - 2 - into door at top first.
- Pull off protective foil from below until over area of impression.
- Bond seal in area of impression.
- Affix lower formed piece and bond on seal completely in lower area.
- Pull off remaining protective foil and bond on seal in upper area.
- Press seal firmly onto door.
- Bolt seal at bottom with bolt - 3 -.
