Upper C-pillar Trim Panel, Removing And Installing (From Calendar Week 36.02)

WARNING: Observe safety precautions for working on airbags and head-level airbags.







1 - Upper C-pillar trim

- Removing
- Remove D-pillar trim
- Carefully press airbag module upward.
- Remove bolts - 2 - (3x).
- Remove trim panel - 1 -.







WARNING: Always follow installation sequence for upper C-pillar trim

- Installing:
- Carefully press airbag module upward.
- Press trim panel - 1 - with guide - 3 - into mount.
- Install screws - 2 -.
- Rest of installation is reverse order of removal

2 - Screws (3x)
- Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm

- Self-locking
- Always replace
- Always clean threaded holes for screws (e.g. using a thread cutter)
- For loose (threaded) inserts, tighten inserts using pliers.
