Upper B-pillar Trim, Removing And Installing







1 - B -pillar trim

Removing
- Remove outer seat belt attachment point.
- Unfasten roof grab handle at upper A-pillar trim.
- Unfasten roof grab handle and coat hook at upper C/D-pillar trim.
- Pull clips - 2 - on trim - 1 - out of mounts - 4 - at the top.

- Detach retainers - 5 - upward from lower B-pillar trim - 6 -.







Installing
- Engage retainers - 5 - on trim - 1 - in lower B-pillar trim - 6 -.

NOTE: Do not press height adjustment fitting when installing.

- Insert actuating button for height adjuster - 7 - in height adjuster - 3 - Fig. 1.
- Insert clips - 2 - (2x) on trim - 1 - in mounts - 4 -.
- Clip on and secure trim.
- After installing make sure seal is correctly seated







NOTE:
- Check operation after installing trim.
- Height adjuster must engage audibly in each of the 5 possible positions (including top position).
- Each time the height adjustment fitting is pressed it should return by itself to the "up" position.
