Upper A-pillar trim, removing and installing







1 - Upper A-pillar trim

Removing
- Pivot down flap - 4 - on roof grab handle - 5 - at groove - 7 -.
Roof grab handle can be secured in the 'down' position by opening flap - 4 - fully.
- Remove screws - 2 - (2x)
- Unclip A-pillar trim - 1 -, starting at the top.
- Pull out trim and rotate upward.







- On models with hands-free telephone function, disconnect connector for hands-free unit.

Installing
- Route wiring and connector for hands-free telephone unit from bottom to top.

CAUTION: Take care not to damage wiring for hands-free unit when clipping in trim.

- Insert trim - 1 - with clips - 3 - (4x) in mounts - 6 -.







- For ease of installation, unclip sun visor and move it to lengthways position.
- Insert pin - 9 - in mount - 10 -.
- Clip in trim - 1 - and install door seal over A-pillar trim.

8 - Seal
- After installing make sure seal is correctly seated
9 - Pin
10 - Mount
