Separating Cover And Upholstery From Seat Pan







1 - Cover and upholstery

- Removal:
- Remove seat.
- Remove side trim on sill side.
- Remove side trim on tunnel side.
- Remove the backrest.
- Remove drawer.
- Remove bolts - 3 - (2x).
- Remove bracket - 2 -.
- Remove clip - 4 -.
2 - Support
3 - Screws, (2x)
4 - Clip







1 - Clips (Qty. 2)
2 - Seat cushion extension
- Pry out grip channels - 3 - all around.
- Disengage grip channels - 4 - (2x) on underside of seat.
- Disconnect connector for seat heater - 5 -.
- Pull out seat cushion extension - 2 - completely.
- Remove nuts - 6 - (4x).
- Pry out seat cushion extension - 2 - at clips - 1 - (2x).
- Remove cover and upholstery.

- Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal.
- For vehicles with LATCH "Lower Anchor and Tethers for CHildren" bracket and new cover - 1 -, cover must be cut in at LATCH "Lower Anchor and Tethers for CHildren" bracket.
3 - Peripheral fastening strips
4 - Fastening strips (2x)
5 - Seat heating connector
6 - Nuts (4x)

1 - Clips (3x)
2 - Fastening strips (5x)
3 - Seat cushion extension
- Pry out grip channels - 2 - (5x).
- Pry out clips - 1 - (3x).
- Remove seat cushion extension - 3 -.

Separating cover from upholstery







1 - Fastening strips (2x)
2 - Rods (2x)
- Remove fastening strips - 1 - (2x).
- Pry out rods - 2 - (2x).







1 - Cover
- Pry out grip channels - 3 - from plastic clips - 2 - using a screwdriver.
- Remove cover - 1 -.
- For vehicles with LATCH "Lower Anchor and Tethers for CHildren" bracket and new cover - 1 -, cover must be cut in at LATCH "Lower Anchor and Tethers for CHildren" bracket.
- Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:
- Replaced damaged plastic clips.
- Press in first the plastic clips of transverse beam.
