Rear Lid Trim, Removing And Installing

Lower Lid Trim, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Special hook 3370







1 - Luggage compartment light
- Removing and installing.
2 - Screws (4x)
- Tightening torque 1.5 Nm
3 - Lower rear lid trim

- Removal:
- Open warning triangle cover and remove triangle.
- Remove screws - 2 - (Qty. 4).
- Disengage locking mechanism on left and right at top of trim using special hook 3370
- Carefully remove spring clips - 4 - for lower trim on left and right from rear lid.
- Reach between trim and rear lid and disengage four more spring clips - 4 -.
- Remove trim.

- Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:
- Make sure that the trim engages into plate on lid lock.

CAUTION: Ensure trim is held securely.

Lower trim, disengaging from retainer
- Disengage locking mechanism on left and right at top of trim using special hook 3370 arrow -.

Upper lid trim, removing and installing







1 - Screws, (2x)
- Tightening torque 1.5 Nm
2 - Upper rear lid trim

- Removal:
- Remove lower rear lid trim.
- Remove bolts - 1 - (2x).
- Press spring clamps on trim sides off of rear lid (Qty. 4).
- Remove spring clips - 3 - on upper trim from rear lid (4x).

- Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:
- Before installing upper lid trim -2 -, make sure rubber buffers - 4 - (8x) are installed.
- Guide upper rear lid trim behind rear lid side window frames.
- Clip in trim at top first and then at sides.
