CD Changer, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Open left-hand storage box in luggage compartment.







- Remove hex bolts -A- (number 8) and two Phillips-head screws -B- (retainer lugs -C- prevent CD changer -1- from falling out).
- Disconnect connector and take CD changer -1- out of luggage compartment.
- Unscrew four securing bolts -D- and remove CD changer -1- from mounting frame -2-.

Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.
- After installing, always check wiring connection.

Checking wiring connection between radio and CD changer
- Switch radio off.
- Press and hold MODE button on radio and, at same time switch radio on.
- Release MODE button.

1. Wiring connection OK
Indicated on radio display: "CONNECT" and "CD"

2. Wiring connection not OK
Indicated on radio display: "NO CDC"
- Check harness connector on CD changer.
- Repeat wiring check and, if connection has still not been established, check wiring per wiring diagram.
