Side Panels On Door Sill Side, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095







- Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136







1 - Backrest
2 - Rear side trim (sill side)

- Removal:
- Remove seat.
- Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Remove bolts - 3 - (2x).
- Remove screw - 4 -.
- Disengage rear side panel - 2 - at bracket - 5 - upward.
- Disconnect rear side panel - 2 - from front side panel - 8 - using a turning motion in direction of arrow.

- Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal.

8 - Front side trim (sill side)
- Removal:
- Push front side panel - 8 - toward front in order to disengage eyelet - 7 - from bracket - 11 -.
- Disengage front side panel - 8 - upward at brackets - 6 - (2x).
- Open locking mechanism - 9 -.
- Disconnect connectors - 10 - (3x).
- Remove front side panel - 8 -.
- Installing:
- Install side panels on door sill side - 2 - and - 8 - in reverse order of removal.
