Detaching cover and padding from seat pan







1 - Cover and padding
- Removing
- Remove seat.
- Attach fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 to engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach front seat to fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Remove side trim, outboard side.
- Remove side trim, inboard side.
- Remove backrest.
- Remove bolts - 3 - (2x).
- Remove clip - 2 -.
- Release clip - 4 -.

4 - Clip







1 - Seat cushion extension
- Pry out surrounding securing strips - 3 -.
- Disengage tab - 5 - on underside of seat.
- Disconnect seat heating connector - 4 -.
- Remove seat cushion extension - 1 - completely.
- Remove nuts - 2 - (4x).
- Remove cover and padding.
- On vehicles with ISOFIX holder and new cover fabric - 1 -, cut slots in fabric cover at location of ISOFIX holder.

- Pry off securing strips - 2 - (5x).
- Pry off clips - 1 - (3x).
- Remove seat cushion extension - 3 -.

Detaching cover from padding







1 - Cable ties (2x)
2 - Rods (2x)
- Release cable ties - 1 - (2x).
- Pry out rods - 2 - (2x).







1 - Seat cover
- Use a screwdriver to pry the securing strips - 3 - out of the plastic clips - 2 -.
- Remove cover - 1 -.
- On vehicles with ISOFIX holder and new cover fabric - 1 -, cut slots in fabric cover at location of ISOFIX holder.

- Installing
- Replace damaged plastic clips.
- First press in the plastic clips of the cross members.
- Installation is in reverse order of removal.
