Undamaged Side Window (Sedan), Removing

- Drill off rivet at C-pillar and remove rivet shaft.
- Pierce side panel in area of lower C-pillar from vehicle interior.
- Pull cutting cable into interior through hole.

CAUTION: To prevent paint damage, cover area where PVC molding meets D-pillar using adhesive tape.







- Lay cutting cable under PVC molding at C-pillar from bottom to top.
- Slide cutting cord in between PVC molding and roof trim molding at D-pillar from top to bottom (arrow - B -).
- First pull cutting cord out at bottom of D-pillar and then slide it between side panel and window in direction of arrow - C - to C-pillar.
- Pierce side panel in area of lower C-pillar from vehicle interior.
- Pull end of cutting cord into vehicle interior.

- Secure cable ends - A - and - B - in two pull handles.
- Pull cutting cable through adhesive sealing material towards interior so that window is cut completely free.

CAUTION:
- The PVC molding must not be damaged where visible.
- A visibly damaged PVC molding is equivalent to a destroyed window.
