Condition

MIL ON in instrument Cluster with DTC P0422 "Bank 1 - Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold" and/or DTC P0432 "Bank 2- Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold".

Service





- Inspect only three way catalytic converter that relates to stored DTC(s) as shown.

- Install exhaust components as defined in table above. See Repair Manual, Group 26

- Exhaust system, Emission controls.

- Clear DTC memory.

- Set readiness code.





When procedure applies to vehicles within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty or the 8 year/80,000 miles Federal Emission Performance warranty, use the table.
