Shift Interlock Cable: Testing and Inspection

Ignition Key Lock, Checking
- Turn ignition lock to "ON" position.
^ When button in selector lever handle is pressed and brake pedal is depressed, it should be possible to move selector lever out of position "P" without catching.
^ It must only be possible to remove ignition key in selector lever position "R"
- Shift selector lever into "P" position.
^ It must be possible to move ignition key to removal position without sticking.
- Pull out ignition key.
^ With shift button and brake pedal depressed, it should not be possible to shift out of the "P" position.
