Parking Assist Distance Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing (vehicles with trailer hitch)


NOTE:
- The ultrasound sensors are accessible from below without removing the bumper.
- To remove the sensors to the inside, a second person is needed to help.







- Disconnect the harness connector -1- from sensor.
- Push both locks sideways (arrow).
- The second person must push the sensor to the inside.
- Remove the ultrasound sensor from inside.

Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.

Removing (vehicles without trailer hitch)
- Remove bumper.







- Disconnect the harness connector -1- from sensor.
- Push both locks sideways (arrow).
- Push the sensor from outside inward.
- Remove the ultrasound sensor from inside.

Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.
