Front Window Regulator, Removing And Installing







- Front door trim removed

1 - Front window regulator
- To remove, drill off rivet heads - 2 - and knock out rivet shafts
- Securely rivet window at point designated by arrow first
2 - Pop rivet (6x)
- To avoid contact corrosion, use only genuine Audi rivets

3 - Door component carrier
4 - Window regulator motor
- After installing, run window up until impact.
- Activate all power window switches ("up") for at least one second to activate automatic window raising/lowering.







5 - Bolts (3x)
- 10 Nm (7 ft.lb.)
6 - Clip
- Engage window regulator - 1 - in clip and close clip (arrow)
7 - Guide pin
8 - Damper washer
9 - Backing plate
10 - Locking plate
