Catalytic Converter: Adjustments

ALIGNMENT OF TWC





A - 13-17 mm (approx. 1/2-11/16 inch).
B - 9 mm (approx. 3/8 inch).
C - Parallel to lower edge of vehicle

NOTES:
^ The TWC's are shown as viewed from the rear.
^ The distance from the pipes to the crossmember must be at least 34 mm {1-11/32 inch).

INSTALLED POSITION OF DOUBLE CLAMPS BETWEEN TWC AND MIDDLE SILENCERS

NOTES:
^ After loosening, the bolted double clamps MUST be replaced.
^ Double clamps are shown from the rear of the vehicle.





Install double clamps as shown. Bolt ends must not extend beyond lower edge of clamping sleeve.
Nut tightening torque: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
