Seatback Mechanical Folding Table, Removing And Installing

Special Tools and Equipment
- Hook 3438

Removing
- Open folding table.







- To protect cover, adhere cloth-reinforced adhesive tape - 1 - onto hinges (arrows).







- Carefully pull out backrest trim in one piece at one lower end using hook 3438.







- Grasp below the backrest trim by hand and bend it in the center area (arrow) to the rear.
- Remove backrest trim from Velcro connection in this manner.
- Lift the still bowed trim over both stop buffers and remove backrest trim downward.







- Remove bolts (arrows) and remove mechanical folding table.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:
- Check for proper installation:
- Housing for mechanical folding table must rest at backrest uniformly all around
- Backrest cover must have no folds
- Align folding table if necessary.
