Interior Monitoring, Functional Check

- Cover all ultrasonic interior monitoring sensors with masking tape.
- Open all side windows approximately 10 cm (4 inches).
- Lock vehicle, thereby activating anti-theft alarm and interior monitoring systems.
- Wait 30 seconds, until LED in rear fog light switch blinks slowly.
- Extend hand through one window opening and remove tape from interior monitoring sensor.
If interior monitor is working properly, alarm will sound.
- Unlock vehicle to disable alarm.
- Carry out same procedure on each remaining interior monitoring sensor.
- Make sure tape is reapplied to each sensor that has been checked.
