Interior Monitoring, Diagnosis

During the first 30 seconds after all doors and lids are locked, the system conducts a self-test and an interior adaptation.

The interior monitoring system diagnosis is carried out via the LED in the rear fog light switch.

After the interior monitoring system is deactivated using the B-pillar mounted switch, the LED will light and stay on for approx. 3 seconds.

Proceed with diagnosis as follows:
- All vehicle doors and trunk lid closed
- Lock vehicle to activate anti-theft and interior monitoring systems.
- Check LED indicator in rear fog light switch.
- Check LED blink codes according to diagnostic table. See below.
