Control Module For Interior Monitoring System, Removing and Installing

Removing







The control module for the interior monitoring system -1- is located at the rear left of the luggage compartment beneath the pump for the central locking system -2-.
- Remove rear left luggage compartment trim.
- Screw out the 2 nuts -arrows-.
- Detach connector at control module.

Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

Assignment of connector at control module
- Control module removed

Control Module Harness Connector, Terminal Assignment:

1 - Power supply terminal 30
2 - Up to 06.95: not used; from 07.95: Ground (GND) terminal 31
3 - Activation/Deactivation of CL pump
4 - Fan low
5 - Power supply left sensor
6 - Ground (GND) left sensor
7 - Analogue signal, left sensor
8 - 40 kHz-Clock pulse, left sensor
9 - Up to 06.95: not used; from 07.95: Deactivation switch
10 - Output, warning lamp
11 - Ground (GND), terminal 31
12 - Not used
13 - Input, door contacts
14 - Fan high
15 - Power supply right sensor
16 - Ground (GND) right sensor
17 - Analogue signal, right sensor
18 - 40 kHz-Clock pulse, right sensor
19 - Not used
20 - Alarm output to CL pump

Assignment of connector at sensor

Sensor Harness Connector, Terminal Assignment:

- Sensor unit removed

1 - 40 kHz-Clock pulse
2 - Supply voltage
3 - Ground (GND)
4 - Analogue signal
