Arming

1. Connect battery ground cable.
2. Place ignition switch in the On position, the air bag indicator lamp should be illuminated for approximately 10 seconds. After approximately 10 seconds, the air bag indicator lamp should go off.
3. If air bag indicator lamp does not illuminate or remains On after approximately 10 seconds, a condition in the air bag system is present. Refer to "Testing and Inspection".
