1) This type of malfunction is indicated on VAG 1551 in addition to the affected component.

NOTE:
- The malfunction recognition includes a plausibility test: the ratio of transmission from transmission- to engine and transmission input RPM with gear selected is unplausible. (test requirement: transmission RPM smaller than 300 or 64 RPM, 300 RPM corresponds to about 8km/h)
- Use only published information to repair a transmission. If the repair information is not published, replace the complete transmission.
