Notes:
^ B1 = Bank 1 (right side), S1 = Sensor 1 (front HO2S), B2 = Bank 2 (left side), S2 = Sensor 2 (rear HO2S).

^ O2S heater Z30 is switched ON after engine start when the calculated exhaust temperature exceeds 420°C (788°F), see Read Measuring Value Block function 08, Display Group 36, display field 1.

^ DTC P0161/16525 is set after engine start when O2S heater current less than 400-720 mA lasts longer than 1 second with the calculated exhaust temperature above 420°C (788°F) and battery voltage between 9-16V.

Amount of current depends on battery voltage. For minimum current at a specified voltage, see table below.
