1st to 3rd gear clutch K1 with turbine shaft.
Transmission starting build date 01 11 2 (with modified ratios and modified shift sequences)
1 - Support ring
^ 4 parts, unclip from inner splined plate carrier
^ installed - -> Fig. 2
2 - Inner splined plate carrier
^ installing - Fig. 4

3 - Circlip
^ various thicknesses
^ mark after removing and reinstall in same place
4 - Thrust plate
^ smooth side toward inner splined plate
^ install together with inner splined plate carrier

^ always 1.5 mm thick
7 - Outer splined plate
^ always 2.0 mm thick

^ sealing lips vulcanized on
^ before installing, moisten sealing lips with ATF
^ when installing, turn piston slightly

^ sealing lips vulcanized on
^ before installing, moisten sealing lips with ATF
^ when installing, turn piston slightly
13 - Piston ring (small diameter)
^ unhook ends to remove
14 - Piston ring
^ unhook ends to remove
15 - Clutch bell housing with turbine shaft
^ check bearing bushings. If bearing bushings are damaged, replace clutch bell housing.
^ before installing inner splined plate carrier, replace wavy spring washer (item 8), inner and outer splined plates in clutch bell housing - Fig. 3
16 - Piston rings
^ unhook ends to remove

- Press piston with spring intermediate rings on far enough that circlip (arrow) can be placed in groove.

- Place thrust plate -a- with smooth side toward inner splined plate and with chamfered side toward inner splined plate carrier.
- Install 3 inner splined plates -b- and 2 outer splined plates -c-.
- Clip in support ring with edge (arrow) after installing thrust plate and inner/outer splined plates.
Notes:
^ Engage holding tabs correctly
^ Install wavy spring washer and other splined plates in the clutch bell housing - Fig. 3.

- Install wavy spring washer.
- Install 2 mm-thick outer splined plate.
- Install remaining inner and outer splined plates.
