Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

This system has two sensors, see following procedures.

Inside Temperature Sensor, In Dome Light Housing:

IN DOME LIGHT HOUSING
- Remove dome light.
- Remove temperature sensor.
- Install in reverse order.

Inside Temperature Sensor, In Instrument Panel:

IN INSTRUMENT PANEL
- Remove glove compartment.
- Remove cruise control main control unit.
- Remove two screws, C.
- Remove instrument panel.
- Remove air channels and outlets.
- Install in reverse order of removal.

NOTES:
- When installing, make sure that the flexible intake air tube is properly seated between the intake motor and the temperature sensor.

- To check the inside temperature sensor while it is in the vehicle, remove the instrument cluster.
