DTC 2232

^ Air flow sensor potentiometer. No signal from potentiometer to fuel control unit, or fuel control unit not communicating this signal to ignition control unit.

This code may be caused by:

a. Faulty air flow sensor potentiometer.
b. Open circuit between terminal #3 of potentiometer and ground.
c. Open or grounded circuit between terminal #2 of potentiometer and terminal #23 of fuel control unit.
d. Open or grounded circuit between terminal #26 of fuel control unit and terminal #1 of potentiometer, or terminal #21 of ignition control unit.
e. Grounded circuit between terminal #21 of ignition control unit and terminal #2 of altitude sensor.
f. Open or grounded circuit between terminal #21 of fuel control unit and terminal #8 of ignition control unit.
